If your AI agents are still messaging leads after they've gone cold or qualified out, you're doing it wrong. AloAi Agents in Sequences+ gives you total control over when AI steps in and when it steps aside, inside your existing workflows.
We built this because scheduling AI should be as easy as scheduling an SMS. Previously, you had to trigger AloAi conversations or run hacky workarounds in workflows manually. Now, AI can be embedded as a step in any Sequence. Start a conversation when a form is submitted. End it when a lead replies or is marked DQ. No toggling. No guessing.
Here’s how it works and why it’s better than anything you’ve tried before.
What’s new inside Sequences+
Two new building blocks:
- Start AloAi Conversation
Use this to launch a conversation with an AloAi Agent — voice or text. Perfect for automating your first touch with leads, whether it’s a quick SMS or a full voice call. Triggered as a step in your Sequence, with optional delays and timing rules. - Disenroll from AloAi Agent
Use this to pull a contact out of an AI conversation. Ideal for disqualified leads, replies, or any logic where AI should stop messaging.
These steps run inside your existing Sequence logic. No custom scripting. No guessing when the AI should step in or back off.
Use cases that save time
Here’s how real teams are using this:
Instant response to form fills
Let’s say you have a “Get a Quote” form on your site. As soon as the lead hits submit:
- HubSpot pushes the lead to Aloware via workflow
- Lead is enrolled in a Sequence with:
Result: The lead hears from your AI agent almost instantly, but they are not bombarded all day if they ignore the message.
Cold list warm-up
You’ve got 5,000 old contacts sitting idle. You don’t want your agents wasting time on dead leads, but you also don’t want to burn your list.
- Sequence runs a message from your AloAi Agent
- Waits 1 day
- If the contact replies: Tag as “engaged”
- If not: Disenroll and mark as “cold”
Result: The list is warmed automatically. Agents only step in when it’s worth their time.
Clean disengagement for DQ leads
Your reps talk to a lead and find out it’s a student, not a decision-maker. But the AI doesn’t know and keeps messaging.
- Manual step or automation runs a Sequence with “Disenroll from AloAi Agent”
Result: AI stops immediately. The lead doesn’t get confused, annoyed, or turned off by irrelevant follow-ups.
What’s the actual impact?
Let’s run the math on the form-fill example:
- 500 form fills per month
- Without Sequences+, reps take 2 to 5 minutes to follow up manually (when they even do)
- With Sequences+, AI sends the first message within 30 seconds
Time saved: 500 x 3 minutes = 25 hours per month
Potential conversion uplift: If AI boosts conversion from 10 percent to 13 percent due to faster response
- That’s 15 extra leads per month just from timing.

You don’t need more agents. You need smarter workflows.
How to set this up (Admin view)
- Go to Sequences
- Create or edit a sequence
- Add a new step:
- Choose Start AloAi Conversation
- Select your Voice or Text Agent
- (Optional) Add a delay
- Add a second step:
- Choose Disenroll from AloAi Agents
- Select whether to remove from all or specific agents
- (Optional) Add another delay
- Save and activate
Tip: You can link this with HubSpot workflows to automatically enroll contacts after a form fill, deal stage change, or custom property update.
How agents can use this manually
If you want to test before going all-in:
- Head to Contacts
- Pick a test contact
- Click “Enroll in Sequence” and choose one with an AloAi step
- Check the contact history to watch the AI conversation start
- If you added a Disenroll step, verify that the contact is removed from AI once it runs
A note on control and compliance
This feature isn’t just about speed. It’s about stopping outreach when it no longer makes sense.
If your industry requires opt-outs, limits follow-ups, or sets rules on rep handoffs, AloAi Sequences+ helps you stay clean. The Disenroll step ensures you’re not over-messaging, over-qualifying, or overstepping.
